IcFEM Gap Volunteers

The IcFEM-Mission has now launched a new section of the Gap/Volunteers Programme. From 2008 we have decided the programme should not just be targeted at overseas volunteers but also Kenya citizens and all citizens within the African Continent. We have realised the programme should not only be beneficial to overseas volunteers but additionally we should develop the nations characteristics and skills which will help us accelerate community transformation within Africa.

The programme as a whole has not changed; you will experience everything that an overseas volunteer does and you will have the chance to be involved with everything that the overseas volunteer has the chance to be involved in. Non-Overseas Application Form

For non-overseas volunteers we have reduced the prices;

If you decide to stay in our Guest House then your accommodation will be a full board stay that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The guest house team will be willing to wash your clothing for a small fee (not including underwear).

ACCOMMODATION

Guest House/Continental Menu: 56.00 GBP per Week (800Ksh per Day)

Guest House/Kenyan Menu: 28 GBP per Week (400Ksh per Day)

Living with a Member of Staff: 10.50 GBP per Week (150Ksh per Day)

ADMINISTRATION

Guest House/Continental Menu: 10 GBP per week (1000Ksh per Week)

Guest House/Kenyan Menu: 10 GBP per week (1000Ksh per Week)

Living with a Member of Staff: 10 GBP per week (1000Ksh per Week)

TRANSPORT

Transport for the IcFEM Orientation:

7.50 GBP per trip (based on single occupancy) (750Ksh per trip)

2.00 GBP per trip (additional passenger) (200Ksh per trip)
