IcFEM Gap Programme Blog

Hello Blog Readers,

The IcFEM-Mission has now produced a blog for the gap programme. You can be updated of what our students/volunteers are taking part in. We are aiming to inform people what the Gap Programme is all about and to give future gap students/volunteers an insight of what is involved in a gap year.

Personal Students/Volunteers Blogs

Hello Blog Readers,

IcFEM has set up personal blogs for every student staying at the Mission. For those who don't know what a blog is, it's short form for "Web Logs", these are journals which are published on the internet. This is a great opportunity for our students to keep in touch with family, friends, other gap year students and the general public. It also allows the Mission staff and our students to show family and friends what we are doing and how we're helping the local community in Accelerating Community Transformation. The viewer can give opinions, comments, talk about issues concerning the IcFEM Mission etc. The blog has opened a window for our students to communicate with the wider world whilst spending time in Kimilili, Kenya on their gap period. So please if you have any comments about the gap programme please send us a message to gap-programme@icfem.org.

Our students will also submit their thoughts and opinions which would be necessary or relevant to know for future students who are considering having a gap year.

From this Blog we are aiming at informing future gap year students to realise that the IcFEM Gap Programme is the real choice and have meaningful and enjoyable activities with 5* accommodation!! So please take theime of looking at this website to find out more about the mission and our projects. Click on the links below to view our student’s day to day experiences. You can even send our student's comments and encouraging notes.

These are the personal views of the bloggers and IcFEM takes no responsibility for the content & accuracy.
